In this romantic comedy with a soaring score, Amalia and Georg work together at a modest Hungarian parfurmerie. But there is no love lost between them. He thinks she’s stuck up. She thinks he’s arrogant. Each rapturously writes to an anonymous pen pal, and it doesn’t take long for the audience to see they’re in love without realizing it. Through some of the most iconic songs in music theatre (“Vanilla Ice Cream”, “She Loves Me”, “Will He Like Me?”), Georg and Amalia discover the truth and rejoice in their love for each other at the story’s musically delightful conclusion.
