About Bloomington-Normal Artists and Art Scene
The Bloomington-Normal Artists and Art Scene is a grassroots, artist-led coalition of gallery owners and artists, including twelve downtown Bloomington art studios-galleries representing 120 local Bloomington-Normal and regional artists, as well as local nonprofits Inside Out: Accessible Art, Threshold To Hope, Illinois Art Station, McLean County Arts Center, McLean County Museum of History, and more.
The BN Artists partner with VisitBN as the true promoters of Bloomington-Normal, working collaboratively to promote the vibrant, thriving art scene in Bloomington-Normal. The BN Artists, VisitBN, and other community groups work together each year on signature events such as Slow Art Day on Route 66, Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor, Art Trail on Route 66, First Fridays, and the Annual Art Walk celebrating 25 years of art around the corners this November. Connect with Bloomington-Normal artists, galleries, and Arts organizations online via the public Facebook group Art Scene in McLean County.
