Carrie Sue & The Wood Burners hail from Urbana, IL and reside at the intersection of songwriting, storytelling, and harmonizing – where they create a unique blend of folk, bluegrass, country and Americana music. Their sound is a combination of the old and the new. Featuring the timeless art of a well-crafted song, the beauty of melody and harmony, and carefully executed performance, the band combines their individual perspectives and contemporary inspiration to create a sound that is reminiscent yet fresh, and uniquely their own. Honest songs, heartfelt vocals and excellent musicianship mark a unique but familiar sound for this trio.
