Good Self-Care for Reducing Holiday Stress & Winter Blues: An APDA Parkinson’s Education Program

Join the American Parkinson Disease Association on December 17th to learn and connect with others living with Parkinson’s disease with a mindfulness on self. Let’s keep moving and focusing on good self-care despite the cold and extra “holiday to-do’s”. Our physical therapist will lead our conversations followed by some fun vocal exercises.

We will focus on:

Exercise and movement to help lower freezing and increasing balance.

Using and exercising our voice to lower communication frustration.

Being creative in our activities to increase our chances of maintaining a good routine.
