Get ready to embrace the holiday spirit with the beloved classic, A Christmas Story, the Musical at Community Players Theatre. This musical promises to be a highlight of the holiday season!

Based on Jean Shepherd’s semi-autobiographical tales, A Christmas Story, The Musical captures the whimsy and warmth of the holiday season through the eyes of Ralphie Parker, a young boy whose one wish for Christmas is a Red Ryder BB gun. There’s only one problem: everyone else is convinced he’ll shoot his eye out!

Ralphie’s vivid imagination conjures up show-stopping numbers like “Ralphie to the Rescue” and memorable moments such as the Old Man swooning over his “major award,” the triple dog dare’s hilarious result, and the demise of the family’s Christmas dinner at the paws of the Bumpus hounds.

Featuring a vibrant score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, it’s a heartwarming tale filled with humor and nostalgia. It’s as delightful as the biggest, shiniest present under the tree on Christmas morning.
