Echo Building Part 3 (Saturday, October 10 from 10:00am-1:00pm) -- an initiative of BCAI Cultural Arts & Humanities with Illinois Humanities Envisioning Justice -- will connect audiences of all ages to means of personal and communal storytelling and expression around themes of decarceration and community actualization.

Leveraging BCAI’s Brunch Music Series platform and the momentum of Echo Building Parts 1 & 2 (February & March 2026), Echo Building Part 3 will feature opportunities for youth ages 8-16 and adults in their worlds to engage in mentorship as they explore samplings of what our communities have to offer for continued collective- and self- enrichment and growth. In the words of hip hop artivist King Moosa, “Healing is Crime Prevention.” Echo Building is one way to make us well.

Attendees: Youth ages 8-16 (participants); Adults ages 17+ (mentors & community partners). Registration is FREE for all participants.
