Book Signing with Local Author Amanda L. Webster at Bobzbay Books
About the Author:
Mandy Webster lives and works in Central Illinois, USA. She has two sons, two dogs, and two cats (but no affinity for the number two. That’s just a coincidence.) When she’s not writing, she works full-time as an academic advisor and spends as much time as possible in her garden – except when she can find an excuse to travel somewhere new. To track Mandy’s journeys and see pics of her travels, dogs, flowers, and books she’s reading, follow her on Instagram @mandy_raine.
Webster has a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing as well as a Master of Science in Business Management that she only occasionally uses. She also publishes under the name Amanda L Webster and operates a blog at writeontheworld.wordpress.com if you are interested in reading more of her work.

It Had to Happen (Adult Thriller): When Jack Utley loses his daughter just as his business is about to soar, it seems he’s traded financial gain for Callie’s life. After an encounter with a mysterious woman on the eve of Callie’s funeral, Jack wakes up to find that time has somehow rewound to the morning of Callie’s accident. Jack gets an opportunity that most grieving parents can only dream of – he saves his daughter’s life. Fans of Baby Teeth will love It Had To Happen!
One Bad Cat (Occult Satire): Dr. Stephen Scott is a psychology professor who dabbles in the occult. When his female coven members cast a spell to turn him into a cat, he vows to seek revenge. But first Stephen must find a way to open his safe so he can get to the magic medicine bag that is the source of all his power. | Christopher Lombard is a nice guy who is going through a rough patch. His girlfriend dumped him for an ex-boyfriend and then got him arrested on a bogus domestic violence charge. He’s still making payments on the expensive furniture the two of them purchased together even though his girlfriend kept it when they split. And his female coworker was promoted before him in an obvious case of reverse-sexism. But everything is about to change when Chris finally allows access to the stray cat that has been demanding to enter his new apartment through the bedroom window.
If You Didn’t See It Coming (Adult Contemporary): Three generations of women are ensnared in a vicious cycle that will end in death. In this “who’s-going-to-do-it,” Marilou, Carrie, and Emma have all made bad choices when it comes to men. While Marilou and her granddaughter Emma can see everyone else’s mistakes, only Carrie — stuck in the middle — seems to realize just how bad all of their decisions have been. All of their choices will have consequences: only one of them will be deadly. Fans of Lisa Jewell will love If You Didn’t See it Coming!
Demons of the Night (YA Fantasy): Docia’s parents work hard to hide the truth from her about what she is. They want her to be a good Christian woman, and they believe secrecy is the only way to achieve that goal. They aim to keep their adult daughter under their protection for her entire life, but that plan backfires when a demon enters the picture.
Valley of the Bees (YA Dystopia): Kirkus Reviews calls Valley of the Bees, “A tale that offers mesmerizing worldbuilding and complex explorations of gender relations in a frightening dystopia.” In a world where honeybees are all but extinct, Valley has spent her entire life in the tranquil river bottoms where her family camps out every summer and grows more food than most folks can dream of. But, that’s all about to change on her sixteenth birthday when her Uncle Jacob informs her that she will be marrying the son of the powerful mayor of a nearby town.
