Free Senior Showcase
Seniors ages 55 and older (and their families), will get the chance to connect with local businesses and organizations dedicated to providing services to older adults and their families. Attendees will get to meet with experts regarding assisted and independent living, audiology, hospice care, financial planning and much more. Free snacks and refreshments will also be available.
Vendors in attendance include Traditions Health, Faith in Action, Aetna Better Health of Illinois, Evergreen Senior Living, Synergy HomeCare, Community Care System Inc., YWCA RSVP Program, Illinois Attorney General, Bloomington & Normal Public Libraries, Midwest Foodbank, Ameren Energy Efficiency, Bloomington Police Department, and STAR Adult Literacy Program.
“We are lucky to have such diverse vendors for this event,” said Parks & Rec Program Manager Nicole Culbertson, adding “This event is a great opportunity for older adults, families or caregivers to learn about all the resources that are available to them in the community.”
The Miller Park Adult Center is on the lower level of the Miller Park Pavilion, located at 1122 S Morris Ave. in Bloomington, Illinois.
