Art Galleries Summer Camp

Students will tour exhibitions on view, be introduced to the work of various contemporary artists, and create artworks using different mediums and techniques in 2D, 3D, and digital media. They will also learn introductory skills for preparing their artwork for presentation, writing labels and artist statements, and curating an exhibition.

A pop-up exhibition of artwork created by students during the camp will be on view from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26. Cookies and water will be provided. Students will take their artwork home after the pop-up exhibition.

Participants will need to bring their own sack lunches for each day (please avoid nuts in case of allergies). Water will be provided.
