Bloomington Ice Center Hosts Try Hockey for Free Day
BLOOMINGTON, IL – The Bloomington Ice Center is partnering with over 800 ice rinks nationwide to host another Try Hockey For Free Day event on Saturday, Feb. 24th from 4:20 PM – 5:10 PM
“No previous skating or hockey experience is required to participate,” said Brian Ludy, Assistant Manager/Hockey Director at the Bloomington Ice Center, adding “This is a great opportunity for youths aged 4 to 10 to discover the sport of hockey for free.”
The November Try Hockey For Free Day had over 75 participants registered, pre-registration is required for this event at https://tryhockeyforfree.com/event_detail/2393.The Bloomington Ice Center will have equipment available to borrow for registered participants.
The Bloomington Ice Center is part of the City of Bloomington’s Parks & Recreation department and is located at 201 S. Roosevelt Ave in Bloomington Illinois. Free parking is available in the Arena Parking Deck south of the Bloomington Ice Center Entrance on weekends.
